RIVER PLANTATION RV PARK
Sevierville, TN - September, 2009
This trip was a bunch of fun! I camped with a group of friends from the East tennessee Camping Club (ETNCC). Eight of us reserved camp sites for the weekend. We were pretty close together.. so visiting throughout the day was fun. On saturday we gathered at one RV for a big cookout.. and watched the Vols lose to Florida (too bad!). Rain managed to dampen the festivities a little (no campfire).. but I still enjoyed the weekend very much!
River Plantation is a beautiful commercial campground between Seveirville and Pigeon Forge. The campground is well maintained and sites are almost pefectly level. Each site offers a concrete patio with a pick nic table. Cable TV and free WI-FI is included in the site rental. The only downside.. roads are all gravel.. this could get dusty in dry weather.
