My second trip in the JAYCO 197 travel trailer. I wanted to make a quick trip to check out a couple of things. On my first trip I didn't have the hot water hooked up correctly.. so I couldn't use the shower. This time it worked! Also I actually pre-cooled the refridgerator before this trip and was able to ditch the ice chest.
Upon my arrival it was raining. I mean RAINING!. Thunder, lightening and buckets of rain. I sat in the truck about 30 minutes before I could un-hitch and set up. Because of the rain,.. I chose one of the sites with a full concrete pad, hoping to cut down on the mud and wet dirt tracked into the camper. In the future I'll pick a site on the lower end.. with more shade. This was a nice site but got full sun from 8am till 9pm.
Even though this was a quick.. close to home campout.. I always like Norris. It's one of my favorite places to relax.
