As for Jellystone, we have been going since the Landry's purchased the campground. We enjoy it for many reasons. For one, I love the "state park" feel of it with all the trees and the rushing creeks rather than the "parking lot" feel of others in the area. Like many/most of the campgrounds in the area, sites are not huge. Some of the sites at Jellystone are larger than others.
For campers with children, you can't beat the activities that they have. And, bottom line, we really love the Landry family. They treat all of the campers that stay there as guests. It's the little things they do that make it special. That may sound corny, however, it's true. They are definitely not looking at each guest as just a $ to be made. They go out of their way to ensure you are happy.
