CAMPER'S CAMERA
DALE HOLLOW DAM CAMPGROUND
Celina, Tennessee
Pictures taken January 19, 2010
The first thing I liked about Dale Hollow Dam CG.. was the trees. I read some negative reviews about a lack of shade here, Apparently, in the last few years.. there have been several trees cut down due to an insect problem. But there are plenty left. Only a few sites (not pictured here) are without a considerable amount of shade.
I have included pics of what I feel are the best sites. These are along a road that runs next to the water inlet. Sites 43, 45, 47, 48, 49, 51, 56, 58, and 60 are on the water side of the road. Site # 9 is a pull through site. At the bottom of the picture cluster.. you will see a photo taken of the road that hosts these sites,.. and a picture of the fish cleaning shelter.
I didn't measure the sites... but they all seem very roomy to me. I belive most all sites could accomodate at 30 ft trailer or 5th wheel with no problem.
All considered.. This would be a very nice place to spend a few days. I was told the campground stays pretty busy during the season. The CG accepts reservations up to 6 months in advance.
