CEDARBROOK CAMPGROUND
Lebanon, Ohio - August, 2009

My visit to Lebanon, Ohio was the farthest from home, so far.  It was kind of exciting pulling the camper on this, nearly five hour, road trip.  Everything went well on the road.  Most of the trip was up I-75 through Tennessee and Kentucky.. then I-71 in Ohio.

Cedarbrook is a small commercial campground in the city limits of Lebanon, Ohio. Although it's inside town.. you still get that woodsy feel.  Cedarbrook is similar to a state park type setting.  Most every site offers some shade.. and many are shaded all day.  Roadways and site driveways are gravel. Each site has a pic nic table, fire ring and a concrete patio.  My site (#49) was full hook up.  The wi-fi signal at my site was "very low" or zilch several times. So if you must have internet.. get a site closer to the source (I think near the playground). There's no cable TV, but my camper's digital antenna, even with all the trees, worked great. I picked up about 15 channels (maybe more).. including all the stations from Dayton and Cincinnati.

Here's a link to the campground's website:

On day two of the trip I went out on the Ohio River with my cousin Mike.  He has a beautiful 34 foot cabin cruiser (see photos).  It was the highlight of my vacation!  My son, Brian, and I went out again on Saturday.  Thanks for inviting us Mike.. you and Karen are the best!
