RENFRO VALLEY KOA
Renfro Valley, Kentucky - October, 2008

My son (Brian) and I met about halfway between his home (in Ohio) and where I live in Tennessee. The near halfway point turned out to be the KOA campground at Renfro Valley, KY. The campground is ok.. the staff is very nice and helpful.. but the sites are pretty close together. We were there on a slow weekend.. so it wasn't very crowded.

Brian and I both celebrate our b'days in October,.. so we exchanged gifts and wishes around the campfire. One day we drove up to a big flea market (in Richmond I think). We made a visit to Fort Boonesboro State Park campground too. We might want to camp there sometime next spring.

This was a great weekend.. had a bunch of fun! Just me, my son.. and our puppies.
