BIG RIDGE STATE PARK
Maynardville, TN - August, 2009

I like this little state park campground. This trip to Big Ridge was extra special! It was the first trip for my new "camping buddy".. Max.  I also was joined by Dave and Darlene Kral.  It's always more fun to camp with friends.. and we had a great time!

All week it looked like we might have a rain weekend. But things cleared up Friday afternoon.. and the rest of the camp out was near perfect ..weatherwise.

Friday night was the annual Big Ridge Bluegrass Festival. Several groups played under the stars from about 7pm til midnight.
